How It Works

Find

Search by location, city, or ZIP. Filter by grade, price, style (omakase, Edomae, AYCE, conveyor), and even by a specific fish or roll. List and map views.

Rate

Grade the restaurant overall on the A+ to E Hounds scale — add optional marks for fish quality, rice, knife work, freshness, value and more only if you want to. Then grade the individual pieces you ate.

Roll

Every grade feeds the rankings — Best Omakase, Best Nigiri, Best Otoro, Best Value — built from real reviews, with the review count always shown.

Grades down to the piece

Most review apps stop at the restaurant. SushiHounds grades the restaurant and the individual items — so a place with mediocre rolls but transcendent otoro shows up where it should.
